An international conference "Complex analysis and its applications"

From May 30 to June 5, 2021, an international conference "Complex Analysis and its Applications" was held in Gelendzhik - one of the branches of Kuban State University. It was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Nikolaevich Dubinin.

The conference is organized by Kuban State University under the support of the Kuban Scientific Foundation, the Laboratory of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University "Multidimensional Approximation and Applications", as well as leading academic mathematical institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and a number of universities.

More than 100 scientists from 10 countries of the world have registered to participate in the conference. This year, because of the pandemic, the conference is held in a face-to-face and online format with the broadcast of plenary lectures and online speeches by a number of well-known scientists.

The conference is attended by leading scientists-mathematicians of Russia and the world, academicians, corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, young scientists and others. Among them: Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the M. V. Keldysh IPM of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. I. Aptekarev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of KubSU V. A. Babeshko, Professor of Mathematics at Texas Tech University (USA) A. Y. Solynin, Professor of the University of Turku (Finland) M. Vuorinen, Professor of Moscow State University A. G. Sergeev (Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Professor of Tohoku University (Japan) T. Shugawa, etc.

The best reports of young scientists will be recommended for participation in the competition held by world-class international mathematical centers for the selection of young participants of the international Mathematical Congress in 2022.

The mathematical conferences held by Kuban State University are a continuation of the traditions established by the first Vice-Rector for Science of the University, Igor Petrovich Mityuk, who was the founder of the world-famous mathematical school on the theory of symmetrization.
