KubSU signed a cooperation agreement with the regional migration center

Kuban State University and the Krasnodar Territory State Budgetary Institution "Multifunctional Migration Center" (MMC) signed an Agreement on cooperation and interaction on January 25. It is symbolic that the strategic partnership, focused on providing comprehensive support and assistance to foreign students, started on Tatiana's Day – the Day of Russian Students.

In the conversation with the Director of the MMC Elena Mikhailovna Demerdzheva, Rector of Kuban State University Mikhail Borisovich Astapov noted: "Kuban State University has been teaching foreign students for more than 50 years. This year, these are representatives of 68 countries of the world. It is extremely important for us that every foreign student has all the necessary conditions for studying and a comfortable student life, so we are glad to have the opportunity to combine our efforts and, together with the Multifunctional Migration Center of the Krasnodar Territory, provide additional information and consulting opportunities to foreign students at Kuban State University, including the field of employment."

The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Quality of Education, First Vice-Rector Temyr Aytechevich Hagurov, Vice-Rector for Integrated Security, Student and Social Affairs Nikolay Vasilyevich Redkin and the Director of the International Affairs Department Galina Nikolaevna Govorova.

It is worth noting that Kuban State University takes an active part in the implementation of strategic projects to promote Russian education. More than 5,000 representatives from 125 countries of the world are among the foreign graduates of KubSU. The new goals within the framework of the strategic initiative "Russia is an attractive country for study and work" are focused, among other things, on the development of the regional economy and require new formats of interaction between regional authorities and educational organizations in order to create attractive conditions for talented youth and highly qualified specialists from foreign countries.
